Seedling leaf issue help
Good evening GR420
Hope everyones cool
I intend on getting a diary posted once all set up in the tent.
Until then, I've been growing out three seedlings under a 15w LED, in small pots with bio bizz light mix
I've ran into an issue and one of the seedlings is abit stressed, I thought it was due to the light being too close. And intense, but now think it may be due to temps
The shape of the leaf is quite wavy, and not healthy looking.
Temps are between 18c - 20c and light about 7 inches fro top of seedling.
Trying to attach pic
Hoping you guys can advise on what issue I'm having here
Hope everyones cool

Looks like wilt not really stress imho
Try putting them into a little larger pots so they stay more evenly moist

Hey Organiccanna,
How much have you been feeding as in how much nutes to a ltr and how often? Have you been adjusting the PH? What type of LED are you using too? All information will help people diagnose your issue.

I agree, they look ok to me :)
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

No nutes yet, just biobizz light mix and a little water when dry.
I do not have a ph pen at the moment, do you have any recommendations on ph pens? Blue lab seems the most popular.
I use a grow led from ikea for the seedlings.
Thanks

Thanks GMO, Marcus and Nanook.
I'll pot them up later and give them a good watering

Re: Seedling leaf issue help
There's your issue buddy they're hungry. I thought they looked a bit yellow in the first pic. I had a similar issue with lightmix. I'd repot them and start to feed them ASAP.Organiccanna wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:57 amHi grumpygrower, grumpygrower wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 7:28 amHey Organiccanna,

You shouldn't need to PH when using Biobizz so don't worry about it. I asked to check that the small deficiency you seem to have was related to PH. They look fine TBF just a little hungry. Rule of thumb is in lightmix, start to feed when the first set of real leaves are present.
It may also be a good idea to give these a little foliar feed. They will recover a little quicker than feeding from the roots.
Hope this helps!

I'll give them some fish mix foliar later, repot and feed the roots.
Much appreciated

Re: Seedling leaf issue help
Interesting you say repot and start feeding. Just my impression was that potting up was like adding a little more time before the need for feeding. You've peaked my interest again, could your elaborate a little for me?grumpygrower wrote:There's your issue buddy they're hungry. I thought they looked a bit yellow in the first pic.
