This week has been a rough one for my little county. We where one of the ones declared a state of emergency due to the flooding. Families lost there homes.. 4 confirmed deaths so far.. so much chaos and pain..but in that moment.. when hearts are being torn and all seems lost.. that is when you find out how strong your community and state are. I have never been more proud of our county and State as I am now. Amazing men and women .. civilians,our volunteer fire departments and sheriffs departments so many people risking there own lives to save those of a perfect stranger. We had so many fisherman that showed up with there boats ready to go. It was amazing. We stood with tears and pride as we watched a long line of trucks hauling boats head for the hardest hit area in the county. See we may be a small country county but our hearts are huge and we all banned together to shelter feed and cloth the families that lost everything. San Jac proud Texas strong
