Fish Emulsion
Has anyone made their own fish emulsion?
If so, what's the best fish to use?

We can get swept away by our thoughts,,or learn to step back and see them with clarity.

Re: Fish Emulsion
I was thinking of making some myself, as I sometimes see cheap fish in the Supermarket. (Normally Mackerel)
I've been looking at a few ways of making it (each site seems to give different advice) One site adds lactobacilli, but that's not something you can get in the Supermarket or ebay.

Re: Fish Emulsion
I think you can grow lactobacillus pretty easily at home.

Re: Fish Emulsion

Fook using Salmon. The last time I saw that reduced as ASDA, they were asking £30 for it.
I see the odd mackerel on sale for around £1. I can't get to the fish market in town. It's too much of a walk. Fucked me up for 3 days when I last went.
I was thinking of using it on my plants, rather than decorate with it. :D
It shouldn't do. The smell comes when it's fermenting and turns to a slight vinegar smell once it is ready (according to what I've read)

Re: Fish Emulsion
I never have as I hate fish to eat. So tend to steer clear. But I've ben curious as I've heard the microbes and goodies are all there and more. The Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 1:29 amHas anyone made their own fish emulsion?

So, I am curious to see what others experiences are too?
