How to Clean Your Hands of Cannabis Resin

Post by GMO »

Good morning folks

Ive just finished another round on the scissors and it dawned on me that ALOT of new growers will be suffering from sticky fingers for days and weeks following chop, initially this doesnt sound like the worst thing in the world. Then you realize your outta milk and gotta go to the shop straight after chop or even during :suicide:

really fast and simple option if you dont have the standard Iso to hand.

Grab a Table spoon of any oil; sunflower, vegetable, butter or whatever you have to hand. In my case i used coconut oil. rub it into your hands as if creating a lather with normal soap. After 30-60 seconds you should be pretty much done. Apply a generous helping of dish or hand soap to your oily hands and repeat the lather step. Now rinse and repeat the soap process and your all done. nice clean and fresh 8-)

Happy harvesting growers!

This has raised an interesting question for me tho.....

as the contact time is so short but is very thorough, it leads me to wonder why we infuse oil for so long when creating cannabutter or canna-oil in the slow cooker method?????

I did not know this worked nice tip mo. Another way would be not to handle any part of the plants without gloves on.

I can only presume the vids I have watched where they recommend 8 hours plus is because they don’t decarb the plant matter first

Personally I tend to decarb and considerably reduce the boiling off period, habit said that I still tend to let it simmer for a couple of hours in the slow cooker

Very valid point, but we know that a full decarb is established with around 106c for about 110 mins

I think a potency test at 2 hours and maybe 2.5 and well at 1.5 might be needed

Rub them together really fast the friction and heat it makes will create balls of squidgey hash to collect, charas hash was made in places like India, Afganistan and Jamaica originally, it`s an old school way of making squidgey black hash . Loadsa videos on youtube how to. :)

Or as said by OP just use isopropyl if you don`t wanna faff around too much. :)
