Hello GrowRoom420.
I've been looking at them acoustic inline fans as of lately, as it might be an option for me to fit such fan and filter in the very tight space I've got above my lights. The question is which one of them is the best?
There are a few on the market out there. Have you used any and what re your thoughts?
I've recently found Vortex - which are showing some good stats on paper - 44 db for just under 1400 m3h 8'' fan. Obviously through a controller that fan will be even quieter.

Black orchid have just released one boasting 46dba aswell
I've not looked into the price, but could be worth adding to your list as they also have a quiet mounting system for inside the tent

Re: Inline Acoustic Fans - Which one is the best?
I am good as I am at the moment buddy. But I was looking at them for a bit and thought Damn man, whoever is going to buy one gotta be a tough choice. The you can get ones starting from 179£ for 6'' fan and price climb up. I was just hoping to get some reviews on the fans and hopefully help out someone in the future to make a decision.
The Box Fan like Gekko and Tornado got higher m3h rate than the inline acoustic fans, but they are also noisier. So I'd leave them out of the discussion for now.
I've also thought I'd ask a salesman the question. I've spoken with one of the guys from GroWell Hydro shops:
But prices there start at from £499.95 for 6'' @ 796 m3h which is wayy bang of order lol

Bulls @ GrowRoom420: How much more silent them isoMax are compared to a 6'' l1 rvk?
Ant @ GroWell :
A lot. the 6" RVK's are actaully the loudest in the range... for some reason they are louder than the bigger sizes also. The IsoMax i distinctly remember from a few years ago when having training on the fans... The chap had turned on the RVK fans one by one to show the noise difference. After this we progressed to the ISoMax we stood there for a little while when I asked if he was going to turn it on... It had been on the whole time, and it was only when I listeded for the noise of the fan that I could hear it. So there is quite a vast difference between the two
Yet the IsoMax are the cheaper option from what they are offering on their website. The other one is Systemair Revolution Vector Silenced EC FansAnt @ GroWell :

Re: Inline Acoustic Fans - Which one is the best?
A lot of newer fans are now ec rather than the old ac
Ec are expensive but can save u 50% power and are silent
The new fan controller s on the market are now starting to go ec some have both ac and ec like the g a s enviro controler
