Hey fellow growers
Hi guys new grower here, found this great forum through Instagram actually. Amazing for a noob like myself. Just started my second grow after the first was a pretty good success I think. Growing with coco in fabric pots under led lights using canna nutes and having second thoughts on something, the room is only 3x4 and was originally using a 900w (equivalent not actual draw) and got really good results so i bought another Viparspectra (600w this time) for a second small room. Until i sort the second room i just threw the 600 in with the 900 but do you guys think that might be a bit overkill? I live in a relatively cold climate but the room is pretty warm, ventilated with 6" extraction fan, 2 circ fans and a little venting. Only got the 900 on at the moment as there are seedlings in the room but what do you guys think? Should i just take it out or am I being paranoid for no reason ?
Any advice more than welcome and if you need more info ask away :D

Welcome to the forum, Fas420.
IMO, It's a little overkill with the lights when they are still seedlings. I prefer to start mine off under CFL as you can get the lights really close, and really hard to burn them.

Re: Hey fellow growers
In that case I'll just pull the 600w out, with your opinion plus what ive learned this afternoon i think I'll just stay with the 900wThe Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 3:03 pmWelcome to the forum, Fas420.

Re: Hey fellow growers
I have good light penetration all the way through flower with a viparspectra 450 so I would say it’s very much over kill. Definitely throw it in late veg early flower though depending on your canopy.
