I'm too clumsy to try doing my own. I'll guarantee to blow the place up. I've lost count how many times I've let a pan dry out and ruined them. I'm no longer allowed to use a deep fat fryer as I've had a number of them almost catch light. I do miss having solid though and can only dream of doing my own.

I did look into that a year or so ago, but I produce so little leaf (you've seen my shitty diary) that it will take forever to get enough trim etc. to make any.

I bought a trim tray, which collects kief as you trim your buds, and now use that to make hash using a Frenchy cannoli method (glass bottle with screw top filled with hot water and rolled over the kief until it combines). That little bonus hash and the chocolate I make from the trim keeps me high pretty much wherever I go now.
