Re: Show my Grow & Advice

Thanks for the comment.

Im really looking forward to seeing how it it compares to the street product, hoping it's gonna be much cleaner.

I only have one tent and to be honest I'm also hoping this crop will last me long enough for me to start a new grow after harvest.

It's looking like 15 weeks I'm thinking by the time I've chopped, dried and cured.

That's gonna be the next hurdle.

Don't wanna fook that part up so I've been reading and watching many videos on when to chop, how to dry and cure etc.

Hi Pal it is good to research and grab as much information as you can but sometimes it can be a bit mind boggling with each grower being unique in their style etc. But you can pop into this thread viewtopic.php?f=58&t=612 and request a mentor and I'm sure one of the dedicated team will be able to work with you and give a plan and on hand advice from start to finish, Have a browse Pal

Quick Update

Just starting week 11 from planting on these babies.

Still been feeding daily Canna A & B 1ml per Litre. Feeding 1 Litre per day each plant - 2 plants.

Just wanted to ask how people think they are looking?

As these are auto plants, im not 100% sure the week they started flower as this is my first ever grow.

Instructions on seeds saif 9 weeks in flower and start flowering week 4 ish.

So im thinking letting em grow till about week 13 till chop, so just 2 more weeks till chop :)

Thanks for looking

SmokeyJoe
Hey Joe pal

You have done really well going solo, autos can be alot harder to learn with imo as you don't get a chance to fix any issues really

But those plants look really good for a first grow.

Couple things that may help ya next time, water daily to 30% run off. 1litre each really won't be enough imo and you'll be making salt pockets in the coco.
Canna A+B will get a plant from start to finish, but by reducing these and introduction a PK like hammerhead 4/10 you can really kick start flower once you see bud sites start to develop
And lastly, iirc your using white light leds, and just going by your pics mate, I think your seeing some light bleaching and light stress on the top 1/3 of your plants. How far away is your light and how many watts is it using mate?

Hi

Thanks for your comments.

Yeah I'm using 2 X Migro COB lights.

I'll measure shortly but I think they about 12" above the plant tops at the moment.

This is the spec of the lights.

MIGRO 100

The MIGRO 100 is a single grow light with a single driver and a 2.5M long cable. It is perfect for a closet grow, cabinet grow or grow box.
Flowering coverage: up to 60cm x 60cm (2ft x 2ft)
Vegging coverage: up to 90cm x 90cm (3ft x 3ft)
Power consumed: 107watts
Total PPF: 239 µmols/sec
Efficiency PPF/Watt: 2.2 µmols/watt
Spectrum: Full spectrum (veg to flower)
Lifetime: 50,000 hours (8.5 years @ 16hour/day)
Warranty: 3 years

As above I have 2 of them. Been on full power for a few weeks now.

Should I raise them a tad?

Very nice esp for the amount of light. Looks a little canooing - are they hot where the leaves are? I tend to put my hand where the leaf is to test if its uncomfortable or not.
I have also noticed LED's are very strong light but its hard to tell if theres bleaching or they are a wee bit hungry from the lights on pic tbh. Try and get a lights off one :)
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

I'm thinking of switching to plain water soon as I reckon 13 weeks total they ready for chopping.

Do you guys think I'm on the right track there.

Give em a nice flush then just plain water for 2 weeks.

Really need to research the cutting and drying process more.

Then curing too. I've done quite a lot of reading but need more. Hehe.

Cheers.

The only true way to determine how closer, or ready, your plants are for the chop is with a loupe.

I have crap eyes so I take high res images of my buds and check them out on the PC. Here is one of my plants.

Nice one Viz, Great chart
