Water Chillers....

Post by Nanook »

Thoughts and opinions please.
I run one per tank as a matter of course, but loads dont and seem to get on ok. Are they overkill?
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

How much leccy are they using per 24 hrs mate? 1 or 2 kw no more I guess. I believe it's a must as when temps go up you're risking to loose all your plants and have no fruits to smoke. Healthy roots for healthy plants!

now you are using leds, you MIGHT get away with not using it.

you could always turn one of them off and check the temp in the tank that isn't chilled during lights on, just before they switch off, as the water will be at its warmest, see what it is.

or you could just leave it on and bask in the knowledge that you aint gonna have root problems which will fuck your entire grow.
I know which option I would take
