Mother plants thread
Hello folks,
I've been talking of getting this started for a while now
Premise is very simple, show us your mother plants, explain how you keep them and why this technique works for you
I'll kick things off by giving you a guided tour of my mum's space
So we have a few generations here atm. The top right and top centre are over a year a piece. Both still in 2l soil pots and the peyote cookies has recently joined their ranks
So you can probably tell, it's supercrop and top regular to get their shape and size
We have 2 additions that have just begun their training into mum's
First supercrop down, once the canopy is even I'll top and start spreading them out
And then we have some very new additions
These are just rooting out and should begin to reveg any day now
And then finally, we have potential for new life
These are from the gelato, I'll hold onto each plant till it's dried and smoked before I decide if any are worth keeps
So that's my system and my mother space. Tbh it's way to big for my needs atm but it works
So let's hope I've inspired you all, cos I wanna see what everyone has stashed up!!!
Get your mum's out!
Thanks for reading

Re: Mother plants thread
So I'm planning on a taking Clones for the first time soon so this thread has come at good time and I've also got my hands on some regular Bruce banner #3 ibl seeds and I want to grow a few out and keep a female as a mother plant (just for the practice really).
So can I ask what medium we keep our mums in?

"You like smoking them, though."
"Oh, I like smoking them."

Re: Mother plants thread
For easy of feeding and stuff I went soil initially but it turns out you don't need to feed coco as regular if you want slow growth so either is fine imoohlordyeah_420 wrote:So I'm planning on a taking Clones for the first time soon so this thread has come at good time and I've also got my hands on some regular Bruce banner #3 ibl seeds and I want to grow a few out and keep a female as a mother plant (just for the practice really).

Some want a fast growing mother (I don't know why) and keep them in hydro tho

Re: Mother plants thread
So here is my mother/veg room ,, , this is a new batch of mother plants
we have girlscout crack , lemon zkittles , holy grail , granddaddy purple , chemdawg , amnesia ,,
ive only flowered the girlscout and lemon zkittles so they are keepers in my book the others will yet to be tryed ,, ive been topping and cloneing the cuts when needed to keep canopy even , they are in a 1.2x1.2 tent under two t5 fictures that have 4 bulbs each , more plants then ill ever need but no sence tossing a germinated seed

We can get swept away by our thoughts,,or learn to step back and see them with clarity.
Easy to forget its a choice
