What happenes when cannabis gets too much light?

This is another example of how a canna plant can react to lights being to intense.
Looks over watered but is not.

raised the light you can see the growth has sped up with in 24hr's


5 days later you can see the stems of the leaves are pointing upwards and not arching over anymore.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads about my experience with having too much light. Air cooled 600 hps

Imagine growing a monster dwc plant for nearly 4 months just to realize she's had light burn at a toxic level the entire time

I'm at week 8 and the buds resemble that of a plant at week 3 or 4. Major foxtailing, fan leaves dry and canoe shaped. Also the plant has completely stopped feeding, I'm nearly on plain tap water right now

Only positive I can say is that she's stickier than I've ever seen this strain, even the fan leaf stems are coated in trichs. Also the buds are rock hard

Oh well, live and learn I guess. Won't be making that mistake again. Now that I know what the issue is I've dimmed to 50%

I thought revegging as well at first, but it keeps getting worse on the buds closest to the light only. Bottom stuff looks good

how can a dope plant get to much light ? when i dont think theres a bulb on the market yet brighter than the SUN see idk maybe im missing summit ? how many lumens is the sun pushing out !!!

Stalled bud sites, and still real dark N heavy leaves on the lower stuff

Yes there is light stress but nothing too bad imo mate. Not that would do that anyways
