Morning lads lasses after last years not so good attempt at nft growing im wanting to give it another go. Would 6" rockwool cubes work ok in a gt604 tray? Thanks

The only issue I can see is they might hold too much water around the stem and would need closely monitored at least to begin with. I use 3" cubes and still sometimes get stem rot especially around the time of first transfer.
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Why not use Jiffy 7 or coir pellets instead?

They wont work in nft aspie. not substantial enough

It's a shame you can't get Cheshunt Compound any more. It was used to stop/prevent damping-off diseases.

A good tip for nft I use to do was either sit a clay ball on each corner of the cube to raise if of the mat a little or tile spacers works well
U may need to hand water the first couple days but once roots hit the mat the plant is away
