Your favourite de bulb

Hey everyone, found this exact grow light on Facebook. Talked him down to 40$ so really can't go wrong. Pretty nifty, fully dimmable from 1000 to 400 watts. And has a built in temp sensor that automatically adjusts the wattage when the tent goes above your preset temperature.

Just wondering what your preference on bulb brand would be? And what spectrum also

So far it's between a hortilux hps, which is 2100k I think. I also found a solistek for about the same price at 4000k.
I have zero experience running double ended fixtures so your help is most appreciated.

I guess he bought it but his gf wouldn't let him grow, he had it listed for more I think but I know how hard it is to sell used grow lights. I always low ball people worked out this time

Does your de run super hot? I might dim it down to 400 and run it alongside my 600 hps just for a better light spread. Only thing I'm worried about is fucking up the spectrum by dimming it. Thoughts on this?

mine only goes to 600w.... but aye, shes warm hahaha. I have only ran 850w until this grow..... time will tell mate :)
