Hey everyone excited to be part of this 2 liter grow off, should be a lot of fun and I bet we'll learn a lot from each other's setups along the way

First off, thank you to seed stockers for the beans

Secondly, coke zero is f****** disgusting

This is super skunk auto by the way, currently in basic soil under a 50 watt led. Original plan was perlite/vermiculite hempy at 3/1 ratio, but I'm about to do that with some clones. So might as well experiment I guess

Bought this massive perlite online, size of lava rocks also have an extra airstone and pump lying around so I'll put that in too. Drain hole is 2 inches from the bottom.
I'll be covering with a black grocery bag in between waterings, I wanna be able to keep an eye on the roots just out of curiosity.
I imagine later on I'll have to water twice a day, so might need a drip line eventually. We'll see
transplanting to the 2 L in a day or two.

Mon the 2 L grow off!!

Quick update, I was impatient as always and transplanted last night

24 hours after transplant and she looks good, 1st set of leaves got a tiny bit bigger so I think I avoided the dreaded transplant shock watered with plain tap water and .5 ml per L cal-mag, ph'd to 6.2

The airstone actually kicks up quite a bit of moisture towards the top of the bottle, which is a good thing in my oppinion. Once the tap root hits the bottom I'll feel a lot better though. I'll update again in a few days after some action starts happening

Hey everyone! Hope all your bottle plants are doing awesome!
Day 5 after transplant into the 2L, so technically day 9

Overall she's doing pretty well, short and squat. can't see the roots in the water but I did see one peaking out about halfay down. so hopefully within the next few days growth will really take off.

Kind of hard to judge when to water tbh, those damn moon rocks hold moisture but not for very long But at the same time I'm really trying to get the roots to the reservoir fast so I think dry periods help with that.

Day 30 from seed

Sorry it's been so long since an update, busy as hell between work and 3 different grow mediums to tend to
Hempy, soil and dwc all at once is too much work, I'll be all rdwc soon.

Been feeding her the same as my other veg plants

Ph 6.2
.25 ml/L silicate
8 ml/L fulvic acid
Ionic grow until .8 ec
Ionic grow added until .8 ec

Going to try and keep her as short as possible, no topping though
