250w kit assembled pics
Hi folks
I thought I'd just through this up for anyone waiting to build theirs or trying to workout how difficult the units are to put together
This wire is in when you open the box
Connect blue connector wire to negative terminal on one board
Connect brown connector wire to the positive terminal on the other board
Then these wire run to the "wago" connectors
In the other side if the connectors goes the same colour wire from the driver
On the other end of the driver, the mains connector then connects the 3 mains wires to the male/female adapter (male end removed to connect to the mains connector)
The female end of the adapter lead then just gets plugged into the rest of the kettle lead mains cable
And plug into mains
A few addition board pics just to show the size of the complete unit
Hope this helps a few people make the leap
Thanks for your time

Thank you, mate. It helps a lot. I may still ask questions though.
The board is put away atm, so I can't look.
You say "Connect blue connector wire to negative terminal on one board" and "Connect blue connector wire to negative terminal on one board"
Does it say on the board which is which?

No problem at all mate. I'm sure we will start having more invisible products appear in the gallery soon, hopefully with all the other smaller details of the build coveredThe Aspie Toker wrote:Thanks, mate. Re: 250w kit assembled pics
Is this cable okay to get for it?
https://www.diy.com/departments/nexans- ... 256_BQ.prd
It's the only one in stock in our area.
Need to get a plug too. 3amp should be okay, yes?

It doesn't say 1.5mm though.
10amp. That's more than I thought it would need, but if you say that it's okay, then that'll be the one I'll get.

I've had so many accidents with electricity, and many more close shaves that I become rather timorous when it comes to such things.
