DIY Rosin press

So ive been looking at a few options for building a rosin press , from buying parts like heatplates and controller and bottle jack and press frames ,,, to going full out and building my own press rather then buying one also looking into making my own heat plates and pdi heat controller , plates having at least two heat probs maybe three .

so the base of this thread is for myself to keep track of my reasearch ,, but also for anybody else that may be intrested in the say ..
i will also give comparisons to ready to use rosin press for the cost of putting everything togeather to just buying one

one thing i like about diy is that you know what parts ya got in your build ,, buying premade can have parts sourced in them that imo are just crap

what really started the thought of a diy was fellow member and i were chatting about it , two my wifes hair straightner craped out on me , and three reaserch and development is always good 4 i love rosin

ive only zapped myself once and that was on a 48 v electrical system while i was trying to bypass something on the pcl in scoop tram

home electriacl i dont mind working with for small jobs but id never rewire a house , but to wire a motor controll or something of that nature no problems

tbh im a very handy guy ,, thats why they call me the wizard ,, when i set my mind to do something i will come out on top one way or another lol

yall will have to bear with me as this thread is gonna take a bit of time to be fully complete ,

next post will be a list of pre built rosin presses and there price ranges i will also do my best to find Uk distributers for the parts for yall and can send yas a list in pm

Good luck Wiz can’t wait to see the final outcome some form of hydraulic press would help for best results I presume
