Hobby filters work fine imo and are a fraction of the price. My most recent cost 35 quid for a 5 inch an so far is still good 2 years on.

I'm currently using a RAM filter that's actually underrated for my extractor 9 months in and not a sniff yet.

Me and 2 others hsve had rhino pros fail in the last year or so. Few lads are on the viper filters atm, cheaper than the rhino pros but as good from what I've seen. I'll be moving over to em.

In the market for a new set of filters.

I have used Rhino Pro filters for the last two years and all good. Not a problem. But they are two years old now. And my 5" filter has given up the ghost so I am going to change them all. Would have preferred not to have to spend the cash as money is always tight when you have young kids. Especially teenage daughters like I do.

Right so I have been hearing rumblings of unhappiness from some folks about Rhino filters.

This makes me a little nervous on spending £250 + on Rhino filters that are now less than stellar as a brand.

Input guys and gals.

I can't work out how you've come to the figure of £250 for a 5" filter. How many are you buying/using?

I'm using viper Viz and can't fault it, decent price too

Viper and mountain air are both equal in quality although on the viper the ducting fits alot more snugly the mountain airs are slightly oversized only slightly but little differences eh !!

check the air movement as well viz, I got away with half the size of the rhino ( I went overkill by a longshot I think ) But best to check :)
