Re: Gifted pot
So, I gave the jar another try and it's gone to the dark side. I will dispose of this.
So, when you gift some cannabis do you expect some feedback? I know it's easy when it's mids or better but when it's #@*%&** what do you respond with? And when you give someone something that you know is really good, do you expect feedback?

Re: Gifted pot
Id have smoked it lol
The only time i give bud away is when i want feedback on it.
Feedback is feedback at the end of the day. Good or bad. If he's new to the hobby, you dont want to dash his ambition but you also dont want him thinking the way he does it is great. I'd explain to him that it could've done with an extra couple days or so drying before going into jars, maybe share your own technique of drying and curing if he knows you grow.

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Re: Gifted pot
It looks to me like there was some bud rot starting but was chopped before it got really going
You tend to see more orange kinda tones where its begun to degrade but hasn't turned to mold dust yet
I have personally smoked my fair share of on the cusp bud and your body will soon tell ya. I first notice a nose tickle which develops into sneezing and if I attempt to smoke more iffy product, I will get the hiccups 100% guarantee
If it was gifted, maybe make the polite excuse that it was left open and turned to mush before you got a chance to try it
Good luck
