New year, new grow, into the unknown. Mexican sativa.

The seeds are maybe some of my oldest seeds at around 10 years old. A friend was out hunting in Northern California stumbled across a Mexican cartel grow. Out of all the plants he saw, one was full of seeds, my friend broke a brach off, and I was given some seeds.

Figuring few, maybe non would crack, I put all 20 ish seeds in water. All but one started a tape root, so into the unknown, are these regular seeds or fems. Only thing I know the mom was a sativa.

They started coming up to day so now the fun starts or the heart ack starts with unknown seeds.

I sure hope it is, I hope they are regs and I can make a few seeds to keep them going. I have way to many seeds I never cracked but always wanted to.

17 out of 20 that cracked, I am happy. So far looks they are not "pure" stivia but are a high percentage.

They are doing well, I have two that are small that I will cull today. Trying to decide if I am going to try re-potting a couple of them or not. Wouldn't mind keeping a female with out seeds for a tast test. My pepper plants have been a constant battle with aphids this winter. Everytime I think I got them they come back.




Temp in the tend with lights out this morning was 66⁰ and 16% humidity, it's been cold here the last few days. Lights on the tent is 71⁰ and 13% humidity. Ps I forgot to edit the pics so they are sideways lol.

I thought I would show my other plant I am growing, Mazar I Sarif, it's been grown in about 1lt pot on 12/12 and is 30" or about 76 cm. That is by far the tallest plant I have grown indoors, on 12/12
