It's a piece of piss coco, I have an EC truncheon but don't even bother with it anymore I just use the nute feed schedule as a rough guide, look at the plants and usually know what they need :oik!: Important to be accurate with the pH tho :puff puff: cheers

:i agree: :i agree: :i agree:

Piece of piss.

I barely use my ec wand, they're handy to keep a check on EC levels in a recirculating reservoir though and to check run off if a plant looks a bit wonky.
If you're mixing daily or a bucket up weekly, then you'll start to not use it as you'll know how much A+B per ml you're using.

I think I know that 1ml of A+B in 0EC water is about 0.425EC as well.

But yeah, good luck with the coir. I did just enjoy running coir in a wilma system for my last grow. That was easy peasy.

That’s what I’ve got a Wilma system, and for this grow I’m going to be using the End nutes from GHO, abs a few other goodies from them.

I only emptied it and refilled it twice while running in flower. Probably week 3, and 6. ??

I just topped it up twice or thrice a week.

Thinking about it, isn't "The End" feed you're using all natural? You shouldn;t need an EC meter for that. EC meters are useless on matural/organic ferts.

???

Ah right so just top up the res with the required feed and water mixture adjust the ph and off it goes again, yes from what I understand the End is mostly organic with an inorganic component, so abit of a hybrid nutrient.

That's all I did.

I mixed my ferts in a 20L bucket and ph'd them, then added to res and ph'd again if needed.

Early flower I used 3ml/L, then changed out res when I dropped to 2ml/L and changed again for the pk week 5 and then just added 1ml/l.

I was adding clean water for the last 2 weeks and there was still grub in the res. That worked well, apart from the spider mites. :rolf:

My pen reads in several modes. When it reads EC it doesn't add the decimal. YMMV.
So on your ec meter 0.2 is 0200?
Yes thats right. 1200 = 1.2 ec , 1000= 1.0ec 0800=0.8ec etc etc same shit different way of doing it. One i have reads same and does ppm and ec with water temps in C or F. 8-)

Nice one thanks I know where I am with it now, as a few have said I don’t expect to use it much it’s an inkbird one for £20, it could come in handy if I need to try and diagnose something 🤔.
