EC meter

Ok so having been a soil grower for my next run I’m giving COCOAGO, just recently bought an EC meter and was trying it out testing my tap water and it come out at 0192 is this 0.192? I ask because there is no decimal point.

Is it reading in ppm?

No it’s reading EC and has a TDS option says TDS is 0096

My pen reads in several modes. When it reads EC it doesn't add the decimal. YMMV.

So on your ec meter 0.2 is 0200?

Yes, exactly. I've done the math from PPM to EC and it works.

If it's a pen type meter it'll use the 500/Hanna scale.
0.5 EC is 250ppm and so on.
