Drying and Curing for Vaping???
Hi folks,
As per the title really. Does anyone think we should be drying and curing any different if we're vaping instead of smoking?
Thinking about it, it's them terpy hits that really get me going from freshly jarred dope. When it's a bit older, it's a bit meh.
Could I get the same terpy hits if I froze the bud and then just took bits out of the freezer for vaping?
Most freezers draw moisture out of food stuff, so I was pondering if the same would be for dope?
I've had my plants down this week and only just remembered this is what I wanted to try. too late now.

I don’t know man I’ve put fresh bud in the vape before and it’s not good, I can’t imagine it would be any better after freezing, I think it does need that cure.

Oooh, headache city that is... It's not the best is it.
I seem to remember there is a freezing cure method ... I;ll have a googly search in a bit.
I'm finding that drying mine, then getting them to 65%RH in a jar with the burping, then vac sealing them and into the fridge for 6 - 12 months is really working well for me. BUT I;m wondering if it needs all that drying and burping, cause I must be losing so much terp wise during that process.
The dry and cure is developed around smoking the dope, so should we be looking at a different method for vaping? Not that the original medthod doesn;t work, it does just fine and dandy.
I wanna turn it up to 11!

I'm having the opposite experience here. Some cured bud has improved vastly since I harvested it over a year or 2 ago, kinda let it die but I can taste them sweet terps even better now. I still think it needs to cure..but that's just in my head bro science.

Re: Drying and Curing for Vaping???
ideally I'd like a storage fridge for weed between 11-14c for longer term storage. I think that would go a long way to extend perishable life.
Normal fridge is probably not a bad way to do it. It's obviously a lower temp being around 3c...but still probably a lot better than a jar of weed stuffed into a sock draw in the corner of the room.
