What did growing cannabis teach you?
Funny when I started this journey I thought how hard could it be I’ve grown many gardens and plants I can’t even pronounce I unlike some was incredibly lucky in having a mentor who I will forever be thankful to! See when I started this journey I had no clue what coco coir even was and barely understood nutrients as I always made my own naturally for the garden but with no reason or rhyme just read my plants and guessed. I still am not good at following directions or using a res I’m sure my mentor has wanted to strangle me on numerous occasions!!
But I can say that one of the things growing cannabis has taught me is not to give up on humans. That amazing humans are still in this world! My mentor has never met me in person had no reason to take that time to teach me other than just being an amazing human. And now I’m blessed enough to mentor my own son using everything my mentor has taught me. I feel proud I feel blessed and I feel immense gratitude for what my mentor taught me.
Sometimes when we are elbows deep in cannabis leaves nurturing and pruning the plant allows the time for you to reflect on what you are grateful for.. what has your plants taught you?

That no matter how much you know or think you know, there's always something new to learn and or a different way to look at things.

Re: What did growing cannabis teach you?
The hobby of growing instilled the reality of a ton of scientific knowledge I amassed in my head over the years, dating back to my high school biology classes. Mendalian genetics, dominant/recessive genes, phenotypes, microbes, food soil web, photosynthesis, all of these things were largely just words & barely perceptible concepts. Growing is a giant science experiment where you get to guide & witness all these things first hand....& you get high as a kite at the end...so the juice is worth the squeeze.
Oh...& redemption. I've made a heap of mistakes over the years, but growing quickly teaches how to learn from your failures & try again...you can always pop another seed. That learning from failures lesson is one of those eternal ever applicable life lessons it seems.

It taught me there's various shades of green in between the yellow and brown bits and to try and keep it in the middle.

Re: What did growing cannabis teach you?
It taught me how to keep my money out of the hands of the local street rats.
More importantly in my opinion, it has taught me that growing most things is easy. I'd never really grown anything with intent before i started growing bud and it inspired me to start growing veg in the garden. I have read just as much now about growing spuds, onions, peas, ect.. as i have growing herb.
