Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
Hey guys!
So I run Advanced Nutrients in my autopot system. I got my arse handed to me last time with salt build up. Can anyone advise me on a line cleaner I can use. Seen a few about but wanted to see what you guys run
Many thanks!

Re: Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
I always clean the pipework after each grow as nasties can build up inside. So fight bacteria I use silver bullet roots as recommended by some on here. Seemed to help me when my plants were dying off..managed to stabilise them.GreenFingerz_ wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 11:27 pmHey guys!

Re: Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
Oh use those pipe cleaners too to make sure the pipes are fully cleared on gunk. Run hot water through them if possible..blow down the pipes etc. A lot of black gunk came out of mine..which I bet was fkin my plants up.

Re: Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
Thanks man. I’ve gutted the whole thing and cleaned it out. Still a little dried salt there but scrubbing it down has got it all out.wutang wrote:Oh use those pipe cleaners too to make sure the pipes are fully cleared on gunk. Re: Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
I would think a blocked pipe cleaner that you may use in kitchen or on blocked drains from time to time will clear them through, possibly even a bio type pond cleaner although i think the latter may take a bit longer to clean them out properly.
For what the piping lines cost which is not very much for miles and miles worth you could prolly look at changing it out each grow for a few quid if you fealt the need just to be sure like.

Re: Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
thank you! Funny you should say I was looking at the piping and for what it’s worth I’m just gonna buy them again. Only a couple of quid!
Thanks for the feedback man. Appreciated.

Re: Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
Hi pal, I would recommend using a product with hypochlorous acid in, like Athena Cleanse or floraflex root drip to stop any build up to begin with! This way you wont have to replace any lines and your root zones will be cleaner!

Re: Autopot Valve / Line Cleaner
I use silver bullets maybe to keep any bacteria at bay. Does this contain any of the stuff you mention above?Hydro Urban wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 9:28 pmHi pal, I would recommend using a product with hypochlorous acid in, like Athena Cleanse or floraflex root drip to stop any build up to begin with!
