Strain Bucketlists

So I recently grabbed papaya milk from cannarado genetics and it sort of hits on a couple different strain types that I’ve been wanting to grow at home.
Thanks to @MrHash for the conversation that helped lead me to the papaya milk.
Anyways, it got me to thinking and I would love to incite some conversation…
Do you guys and gals have any strains you’re wanting to grow yourself?
Maybe it’s not a strain but a breeder that you’re a fan of or in search of…
Anybody out there up for a chinwag???

Mannnn back in 2021 - I almost had a chance to score on some Peanut Butter Breath packs … but I was MAD at all the social media hype about it.

I’m a scientist at heart - it’s always an experiment
I actually would want a chance to grow out some landrace seeds and see what NEW unknown plants I can find.

I’ve got some Afghan mix indicas to run and some Sativa heirlooms from the Congo. Waiting til I have some outdoor space for those seeds.

I’m so tired of the hybrid bred hybrid F1s everywhere
While I enjoy learning to grow and gardening…
The gene pool can only be developed as far as the science goes… cannabis is such a diverse plant 🪴

I think Dex ran some Animal Cookies a while back - there may be some up for grabs in the Store.

I like your plan of attack, and there are some crazy landraces available for growers and breeders to play with!

I myself am always looking for a sweet cheeba type weed as far as taste/flavor/smoke and as far as effects I enjoy a warm indica type effect.
If the plant is a hash dumper that’s even better as I do enjoy pressing rosins.

i like the cut of your gib lol.
i do enjoy most any strain tbf, but if im doing the growing i wanna try some new age hotness, gimme fake candy fruit sweet and gnarly chemmy raunch blended together lol

As a 30 year smoker I never really was interested in the history of weed and lineage, my weed experience here in the mid 90s was a looooooot of actual brick weed lol.
I thought “street weed” was the only strain hahahaha.
First couple funk strains I smoked were nl5, white widow, and some sorta roadkill skunk.
In the short time I’ve been growing I’ve blasted thru so many auto versions of strains and I finally added photos into my grows in the hopes of finding and growing some real fire strains.
I always find myself leaning towards indica type strains and if it’s sickly sweet/fruity/candy I’m salivating like a dog lol.

No worries man lol, I hope everybody plays fair, we just chatting about weed growing in a weed growing forum!

It’s interesting to see what sorta things peeps look for in the strains they wanna grow.
There are so many different reasons we all grow our own and there’s an even greater number of strains and breeders to choose from.

I’ve only been doing this myself for a little over 5 years now, I’m barely out of the total wide-eye noob phase lol.
Anything I grow is better than the swill that’s available on the streets at outrageous prices but as I learn more and gain a better understanding of what I’m trying to do I find myself looking for specific strains or breeders
