There are plenty of pests and diseases that love humidity mate and the humidity is only gunna last till they dry so not really gunna upset too much.GMO wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 9:37 pmI agree a high dose calmag is well worth while. I tend to go in at 3ml per but will go harder next timeHobbit wrote:Hey mate if you are going to foliar cal/mag mix it @4ml per litr or your wasting your time. Keep in mind that a lot of important microbes inhabit the phylosphere and if you spray them with synthetics it may upset them. Sea weed is ok as a foliar. Not sure why foliar feeding would help with pests GMO.
Just generally raising humidity and having a less appealling environment for arid condition loving buggers like them mites pal

The very first signs of mag def show up as purple in the petioles and stems mate. Dont wait for the signs to show up in the foliage.integrajosh wrote: ↑Tue Sep 25, 2018 11:31 pmI'm starting my first dwc next week ising tap water also. Josh the damage here is barely visible in the leaf but is visible in the petioles. The rust spots come later because of the relationship cal and mag share. We say calmag deff but really if treated at first signs its really just a mag deff.integrajosh wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 9:02 pmYep I can see it pretty good. Do little rust spots appear also or is that from a different dificiency??GMO wrote:I'm not sure if you can see but this is early ish calmag deff

Re: Foliar feeding-does it really make a difference?
With this Green Crack Strain I'm getting tiny rust spots on the fan leaves a couple weeks into flower just like last time. It's always had red stems, just figured it was genetics. What you think Hobbit?

Mate ive heard many blame strain and even done it myself. The fact you got rust spots says its not strain related. Get some calmag into it mate. what you growing in? Flowering plants use more cal, so its only natural the problem is compounded in flower.

Re: Foliar feeding-does it really make a difference?
Gave a dose at 3/4 strength when I watered yesterday. Growing in a coco/pre amended soil mix. Basic grow and bloom nutes. Tap waterHobbit wrote:Mate ive heard many blame strain and even done it myself. The fact you got rust spots says its not strain related. Get some calmag into it mate. what you growing in? Read that when growing in soil it's better and faster to foliar feed when you have mag issues. Any truth to this??
