Re: New light
Yeh I'd say its better than the equivalent mars or spider farmer in that price range, from amazon anyway.

Re: New light
Better footprint for the square tent as well. It's mad how few square footprint led lights there are at lower watts.

Re: New light
Just to chuck my two cents in, I've been using Voost LEDs for a few years now. 301H, IR, UV so really makes the full spectrum in a small package and very cheap.
The company hardly advertises but have a lot of experience in the industry and their lights are bomb proof.
I'm not affiliated (but I do have a beard). I have 3 x VST120s, one for veg (set low) and two in a 2 x 4 for flower. The VST120 is ...wait for it......£120 !
Worth a look if you are comparing specs.

Re: New light
This does look like a good option, cheaper than the viparspectra but seems more suited to a 4x2 ft tent looking at the PAR footprint

Re: New light
Agreed. I have two 120s in the 2 x 4 which allows for height adjustment if some plants get bigger than others.biosynthetic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 3:20 pmThis does look like a good option, cheaper than the viparspectra but seems more suited to a 4x2 ft tent looking at the PAR footprint

Re: New light
I wouldn't worry too much about upgrading to anything much better than the tsw2000 if i was running with these LED grow lights, at that price it looks a bargain with the voucher refund too. Should do your space alright yes as well. The tsw2000 looks right up their for top spec, parts used and numbers all are really top draw. The lm301b chip is rated 2.92umol, your not gonna get much better than that tbh except with lm301h @ around 3.1umol rating.Pork Chop Express wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 12:12 amOne day I'll work my way upto invisible sun levels but for now I'm just looking for best bang for buck if that makes sense?

Re: New light
I'm with Mr scoops I've been using a ts1000 for a couple of years and I really rate it I know it's a bit old hat compared to some of the other suggestions here but your only growing a couple of plants you wouldn't need to upgrade it would last ages mars hydro have a sale on too and the tsw2000 was pretty cheap on there website too. Good luck with what ever you choose you will be impressed with any of the ones suggested2-Scoops wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 6:13 pmI wouldn't worry too much about upgrading to anything much better than the tsw2000 if i was running with these LED grow lights, at that price it looks a bargain with the voucher refund too.
