With the voucher the Mars is a lot of light for money. I'd personally look for something a little more upmarket. The spider farmer MrHash is definitely a step up, the invisible sun ISH 265 is a step up from the spider farmer. All will grow weed at the end of the day.

240w is a bit over kill but I'd rather run a higher power light dimmed than a lower light on full whack.

Honest opinion from me is not to go for the Marshydro.

Do you have a set budget?

Somewhere in the £250 range. And it has to be on Amazon unfortunately as I have a gift card...

I'll avoid the mars hydro then. What about the 220w vipar?

I've not used Viper in years. They were ok lights when I used the blurple back in the day.

Out of the Viper and Spider farmer I'd go with MrHash's recommendation. I've heard good things about the Spider Farmer as well. MrHash knows his stuff and has used them.

When are you ordering?

Monday / Tuesday I'll be ordering... So the spider farmer 2000 is the way to go then you think?

The vipar I've seen some great reviews about. Same LEDs and 20watts more power so it seems the obvious choice. But if you think spider farmer is the way to go I trust your judgement 100%

I belive Invisible Sun is introducing a mid range line which is why I asked but it won't be this soon.

I've not used either the Viper or Spider personally. @MrHash certainly knows his stuff (and has a great beard ), so I'd go with his recommendation out of the 2.

I'll have a proper read up on both lights tonight as well as your not ordering till Monday.

With a 80 voucher you will be getting a lot if light for the money either way.

If you have an Amazon voucher and can afford it get the TSE. Less heat. The SF 2000 heat sink is a single thin piece of aluminum... Can get pretty hot... That heat is less efficient and more expensive for you in the long run. Good luck with whichever you choose, will be a noticable upgrade come harvest time.
