Re: Seedstockers - Sherbet Auto
Do you know it could well be start of calcium deficiency especially with it starting on bigger fan leaves high up and what with calcium being an immobile element, that as well if it's gonna happen it usually happens when they just about stopping stretch and starting to bud up, they need lots of calcium to grow fast when stretching you see. You could give them a 2 or 3 foliar feeds of calmag done over a few or more days just before lights out if possible, to try and slow before it starts budding up good and proper, just water and calmag basically. If not just roll with it and see how they go, it looks like shit and will get a lot worse if it is that, but I've never known it wipe a plant out (although i read it can) or effect yield massively if I've had it in past. I found its hard to stop once it starts tbh

Thats what I read on the deficiency chart..do you think I should add calmag to the feed?2-Scoops wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 11:56 amDo you know it could well be start of calcium deficiency especially with it starting on bigger fan leaves high up and what with calcium being an immobile element, that as well if it's gonna happen it usually happens when they just about stopping stretch and starting to bud up, they need lots of calcium to grow fast when stretching you see. Mate I had soo much salt in the res..propa cleaned the he'll out of it with silver spray that I have. I've stopped pk13/14 so I want to see how the situation looks in the next few days.
She's still growing..buds are forming.
I've got vitalink buddy and a fresh bottle of pk13/14 so if it is that old bottle causing these salt build ups and potential detriment to my plants..then it might be that..my issues seem to start in flower.
Brother. You know more than me!

Re: Seedstockers - Sherbet Auto
I knew why last time I held off buying calmag..coz I'm in a hard water area. I'm sure my tap ec is around 0.6 or 0.7 iirc

Re: Seedstockers - Sherbet Auto
Yes its starting to look that way and as said it usually happens when or just after they have done stretching like mad. Really sling 2ml into a spray bottle and spray just before lights out for 3 days on undersides of leaves why is because calcium is an immobile element adding to tank i doubt very much will sort the problem and if it is gonna sort it then its gonna be a real slow process. But yes spray plants on undersides of leaves mainly and add fulvic to spray bottle if you have some along with calmag and also add fulvic to tank. But after spraying for 3 days then add it to your tank or you could add it whilst spraying. No need to ph spray bottle. Really it wont cause any problems, its well early in bloom.
I wouldn't sweat on that too much cus i doubt very much its that.
It doesn't really go off so long as its not turned into gunk and shit your good with it imo. I've used years old ferts in times gone by and still would. Organic ferts go off but not so much with salt base ferts. But yes you could add a little buddy instead but again it really has nothing to do with pk13/14 if its that usually leaf tips fry and lower leaves tend to crisp up that are in shaded areas is what I've found in past.
Sweet
Calcium carbonate in your water is useless cus plant cant use it, put simple its too big for plant to uptake through roots but adding fulvic to your fert regime may help with that as it binds with different elements of your ferts it chelates them and makes them easier for plant to take up and get things to where its needed faster. Fulvic is summink i always use, well up till about 4 or 5 weeks into bloom when stretch is over nowadays.I knew why last time I held off buying calmag..coz I'm in a hard water area. I'm sure my tap ec is around 0.6 or 0.7 iirc

Re: Seedstockers - Sherbet Auto
2.5ml of A&B more than enough for any flowering plant, maybe next grow you could up it to 3ml a ltr when you flip for 3 or 4 weeks till stretch is over then drop back. But yes its more than enough is 2.5ml i mean most on here prolly dont go higher than 2ml a ltr. But different strains and all that shit, greedy fuckers.

Re: Seedstockers - Sherbet Auto
Yeah a couple of lads never go above 1ml.. I just don't want to kill em. To be fair, last time I reached 3ml and was approaching 4ml..and had the exact same issues with leads me to believe its something else..like the basics we discussed earlier.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 4:11 pm2.5ml of A&B more than enough for any flowering plant, maybe next grow you could up it to 3ml a ltr when you flip for 3 or 4 weeks till stretch is over then drop back. I'm going to be swearing a lot if they don't produce half decent buds...the amount of lekky I've spent.

Re: Seedstockers - Sherbet Auto
To me that's just way underfeeding your plants, but if it works for them well good stuff, each to their own and all that stuff hey. I give 1ml a ltr to a week old seedling but once its got a few more roots they really need more than 1ml a ltr imho.
Yes for sure mate. Tbh why i thought it maybe root rot typo problems was cus its in same system as other plant that looks like shit with stinky roots and if that has root rot its easily spread. Its actually an air-born disease see which attacks roots when conditions are right. I was once told by a good guy once you`ve had it the spores are very hard to get rid from your grow room.
That aside looking closer at plant i really think it could well be start of calcium deficiency which in all honesty looks like shit and gets worse and worse, but its never really effected my bud or yields if I've had it, tis just that its really hard to correct cus its very much immobile and slow moving within the plant hence why spray leaves for quicker uptake of the stuff. But yes fingers crossed you'll be sound with this one Wu.
