Thank you both, only just caught these replies.
They are seriously beautiful seeds, going through the lot there's tiger stripes all over, some are huge.
By coincidence I soaked 4 seeds last week and all four germinated and are now tiny seedlings.
I should probably start a diary!

Re: A very small milestone..
Cheers CHC, these are the Northern Fumé (NF) cross in my current diary.
Of course, I'm going to work the new cross line a bit, to try and isolate some good traits somewhat which will take some time.Greenfingers wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 10:14 amive yet to try NL5 , Ive tried NL from a few breeders with SEnsi seeds being the best so far.

This F1 generation has 4 different phenos and one mutant that got culled from five seeds, so there is some variation currently. When I've found the best couple of females it will be a male search to get f2s.
In theory the f2s will open things up more then I may investigate back crossing to lmtry and lock in some good traits and get the line more consistent. (Note it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, the reality is quite different!).
