What stone is this please
Hey buddies really random this I go for walks and like to pick stones that I'm attracted to and later on marry lol
I'm joking I like to play with stones and dremmel and one day I picked this odd looking stone and decided to check what it's like inside just a peek so I took little skin off and was gob smacked looks like steel but its not magnetic just odd looking one and can't seem to find what stone resembles it ....
So please after reading all this crap are you good with stones ? are you familiar with this and I could chop it in half for better look if you'd like

Re: What stone is this please
could be a high tin content perhaps, guess it depends what the make up of the land/rock near you is like.

Hey Dex
It looks like Ferricrete.
Sand and gravel turned to hard mass by Iron Dioxide.
Very sought after by Neolithic people for tools and sharpening.
If you find any that's been used for above purposes it's worth some serious money.

Re: What stone is this please
It's basically clay around me I live in North East Coast buddy no rocks around us resemble this especially not at the beach I tried looking for one similar for past year and haven't found any that resemble it we have lots of quartz types of stones on the beach
