yes, I said this is right in time. not to win a light but to see how people are doing it. get tips and tricks. got some sweet set ups thanks for sharing. I'm trying to get my cloning game on point. but was a little hard this round, yes, I'm blaming my broken ankle on round. i take cutting and put right into tap water that was sitting out for 24 hours. and let set 1-2 days. the lights i just got from a couple of buddys. a tent that was giving to me and a heat mat.ImageImageImageImageso im using the root riot plugs, aloe, honey, cinnamon. i make a new 45 on the plant and put into aloe.Image then honey then cinnamon. then into the cubes.ImageImagethen i let sit for 7 days and start opening the vents. so this itme it looked like it needed water to i dumped too much water without checking cubes. but still got a few!Image some Image 3 of them. so i have messed up before and just left them uncovered. so now im going to let them get some traction for a day or so.Image some of the pictures got out of order. thanks for all ya'll do!!! ya'll rock cheers :barmy: :barmy:

Hi, I usually do clones like most snip off into root riot cube or similar and into prop until rooted but I want to share a new method I heard about on an old growroom diaries podcast which is how I found this forum actually.

So, I cant remember the name of this method or who it was who explained it on podcast, maybe spartan grown but not sure. Method is cloning while still attached to mother plant.

Cut into stem where you would normally do final snip on bottom of clone to expose (insert technical term here) somewhere for roots to grow from anyway. Put on abit of clonex or similar, cut a root cube like a hotdog bun and wrap round the stem where cut and wrap it with clingfilm to hold the moisture.

Now wait for roots to appear and cut off mother plant when needed

if i was doing this again i would wrap the cube up abit better as it kept drying out every couple of days and i didnt think it was going to work but just checked and we have roots, has took about 3.5 weeks lol but i think thats my fault not keeping it wet enough. cocktail stick through cut end of cube may of held it abit tighter to stem too but got there in the end.
