Excellent thread and something I've thought about a few times if you look at nature a seed germinates when light is increasing daily and then vegs during the highest light levels then flowers as the light is getting less during autumn so in nature you don't have anywhere near as much light at the end as it does at the beginning of flower. So it makes sense to lower our light levels it's not something I've done before because of what Mr scoops said in a previous post. it doesn't seem right especially with rh to consider that late in the game but great conversation starter.

After reading advice from Rich at Invisible Sun I actually do it the opposite way round.
I have the lights turned down for the first two weeks.
I flip on vegging power and add a little more each day. I don't reach full flowering power till day 14.
I think a lot of advice is based on using HPS and running higher temperature.
