Dark before harvest

I'm a couple days out from harvest and curious if anyone does a dark period before chop? I've flushed my plants but never done a dark period.

So do you do it? Anything to back it up?

I've never done it mate. To the average growers I think the difference would be minimal..but I'll let some of the OG's chip in!

seen a few people do it, never done it myself as ive never seen any evidence it does anything tbh.

Hi good question I did it with two clones before one was left in dar for about a week or so and other was chopped there and then and only difference I could tell is one that was in dark felt more squishy and soft compared to the one that was chopped without any dark period .

I never did it again so no proof there just I noticed it was rock hard buds when I last checked then a week after in dark buds were softer not allot but noticeable. I didn't notice difference in frost or taste both tasted very og kush lol

I tried the dark period with my gorilla glue.
As mentioned already here, the buds felt softer than
they did without dark period..
(i think when you hang the plant/stems - that is a dark period right there)

Shit me too so it was real I thought I was tripping but did notice just that no difference in anything else

And your welcome @Grumpy Toad it was a really good question and even me who tried it now learned someone else got same result just softer flowers... pretty cool lol

I've tried it when running 2 tents of the same clone. 1 had 3 days dark, 1 normal. I didn't notice any real difference. I do often do it now but that's more my bro science reasoning of trying to keeps temps low the last week to preserve terps. I'd day there is no real difference.
