Dried out medium

So I have around 200ltr of compost i supercharged that was going to be used.
Due to health this has just sat there and has become completely dried out.

Would this be completely dead or would dehydrating it be a viable option?

I'm assuming with the agro phobic tendencies of the soil I should add aloe and possibly yukka extract to help with this, I'll probably mix some fresh batmix and worm casting/vermicompost into this aswell

Should it work ? Should I forget about it n just chuck it in garden ?

I'd get it wet with some worm cast tea and let it sit for a week or two if you have time.

Still waiting on the beens to drop through the door so have time.
Wormcast tea coming up, might do a sml dose of molasses with an additional form of microbes just to be sure to get some real life back into it

yep yep yep, add some micros and moisten it up with a surfactant like aloe or yucca. dont go too heavy on the molasses, just a little goes a long way

id say go slow adding water and let it soak in a bit and then give it a mix before adding more water. your not looking to have it wet as if feeding plants, but back to the nice moist out of the bag kinda damp

Laying the soil out on a sheet and mist it is a nice way to get it nice and evenly moist
