So my plants are looking a lot better but humidity is or was a bit low and Vapor Pressure Deficit (vpd) was way too high touching 2.1. Anyhow to sort this I've ordered a humidifier but in the mean time I've dropped temps to around 24c in the grow area and vpd is more or less on point, ok i could do with it lowering slightly, but hey ill sort that when humidifier lands by raising humidity which has climbed slightly by lowering temps rh is still a wee bit low.

Grow medium i still need to get ec up as its running around 373us/cm (0.37 ec) which i really need to get up in bloom, that said im feeding a fert strength of 1.6ec through top although I've not checked run off i shall do that next time i feed. Moisture in medium is around 34% - 40% with daily feeds, which isn't best for a vegging but hey its coco and clayballs 50/50 so i think i may find it hard trying to get moisture levels in medium much higher than 40 - 50%


So here`s pictures as you can see they look a lot better and have grown quite a bit but still leaves are a little pale, but hey-ho and all that.

Yes much better, the stems are still a bit red/purplish but you can see new growth its slowly growing out. I`m not happy with leaves and colour atmo but they will get their mate. Cheers bud.

So I've been a little lazy with these letting them run wild, tbh they need flipping in next few days. So today i chopped a few inches from all big tops and evened out the canopy as well as taking a few cuttings.

Feeds are 1600 us/cm (1.6ec ) going in to pots. The run off is saying pretty much same 1600 to 1800 us/cm (1.6 to 1.8ec) and the medium at 6inches deep after each feed is running around 500 us/cm (0.5ec) dropping next day to around 0.3ec.

Moisture levels in grow medium 6 inches deep is saying around 50rh after feeding dropping to around 30rh a day later also temps in coco medium is at 21-22c

Temps are running between 24 to 27c and humidity is running between 50 and 65 rh.

VPD at canopy level or leaf VPD we`ll call it is set and running between 1.0 and 1.5 for max fert uptake by plant

Yes lol i know. . Tis right what's said though, we are always learning summink new about growing, you can never know enough no matter how long we`ve been at it. But tis summink I've really been sinking my head into just lately, proper swatting up on it all and tis pretty simple to put into practice these days especially with all the smart wifi grow toys you can buy cheap. Well i say that, i mean its a piece of piss to sort VPD and rest in veg running a light 24/7 but its gonna be a different ball game in bloom but we can all but try hey and tweak shit as needs be. So i went down pub with mate yesterday and back to his for dinner, this is the guy from who i got my 2 cuttings from. Anyhow long story short when i fetched the 2 cuttings originally his son gave them cus my mukka wasn`t home, so his son told me they were Zheetos So now over dinner and a beer yesterday it comes out they aren`t bloody Zheetos but the strain is called Mamacita`s Cookies. The joys of growing other peeps cutts hey ffs lol.
