Help with roots - what is eating them?
Good evening stoners. Something is eating them but what is it? And how to kill those horrible creatures.

Re: Help with roots - what is eating them?
Could be mould mites or soil mites, I think the two are different, just googled them.

Mould mites look like a good candidate, but i don't think they eat roots.

Just used some of this to address a spider mite problem, you have to use it dry (contains mainly silica which is like microscopic sharp glass for bugs). I've actually dusted it around the tent in the loft, good soil conditioner too. I can send a link to the suplier I used.

Are those not root aphids? Do they tail prongs/tail pipes? If so they are most likely root aphids.

I had the little buggers last summer. They loved some plants over others. Some plants managed better, others displayed lockout like symptoms or nutrient deficiency due to the root monsters.

Give that medium a neem oil drench with a spot of fairy up liquid in there too. Should suffocate the buggers.

Re: Help with roots - what is eating them?
Thank you for all the advice guys.
I’ve started nuking them with whatever I have here and also ordered Hot Shot No Pests strips.
I’ve got neem oil which I will use tonight. Used Lost Coast Plant Theraphy last night and I’ll follow with Neem Oil. Little buggers are really munching on the roots. I was what the hell is happening? Good white roots poking from the bottom and then in few days they are gone. Wonder where they come from?
