Possible calcium or magnesium issue
Afternoon all,
Hope you are all well!
Please could I have some assistance, my babies are on week 4 or 5 of veg, grown from clones, but in the past week or so I am seeing rusting on the leaves, general yellowing between vains and some curled leaves which make me believe I have a cal or mag issue. Some pics are below
Setup:
ISH F bar running at 50%
Canna coco a and b, rhizoctonic and cannazyme as per their grow guide calculator on their website, ppm ends up around 850-900ppm and is just short of 200ppm fresh from the tap
Ecothrive coco pro
Dynomyco
15L pots
pH 6.0
RH fairly stable at approx 70%
Day temps about 23 until my heater comes
Night temps about 19
Pics:
Any help appreciated!!!

Re: Possible calcium or magnesium issue
Looks like you've burnt the shit out of it.
How many ml per L of the A+B are you using?
I'd have them around 1.5 or 2ml / L for that size.
No need for the rhizo or cannazyme snake oils.

Re: Possible calcium or magnesium issue
What makes you say burn over cal or mag dude? 900ppm doesn’t necessarily seem high too me?
Canna’s grow guide works out about 2ml per litre maybe a touch over
Also, my question wasn’t around whether I need rhizome or cannazyme, in the nicest way possible haha… they’re cheap so i don’t mind

Re: Possible calcium or magnesium issue
looks like over watering combined with too much light for the growth stage
900 ppm is roughly 1.8 EC which i think most here would agree is fairly high for the growth stage
Id say reduce everything except temps and get some airflow over the pots to help em dry out

Sorry dude, I was implying to sort them out, drop the rhizo and cannazyme and just give them a lighter feed of plain A+B.grownnotflown420 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 7:31 pmWhat makes you say burn over cal or mag dude? 900ppm doesn’t necessarily seem high too me?

As GMO says, 1.8 EC is quite high for those. I;d have it around 1 or 1.2 EC.
They look like they've had a load of stuff lopped off them too. It really looks like they've been over fed to me, they'll come round with a few light feeds.

Thank you bro really appreciated, what would recommend in terms of calmag? 0.5ml/L or drop it completely?GMO wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 8:10 pmlooks like over watering combined with too much light for the growth stage

Re: Possible calcium or magnesium issue
Have a look at the back of your A+B bottles for the ingredients... It's full of calcium and magnesium already.grownnotflown420 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 12:25 amThank you bro really appreciated, what would recommend in terms of calmag? 0.5ml/L or drop it completely?GMO wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 8:10 pmlooks like over watering combined with too much light for the growth stage

There is no need to add any more.
