Post by MommaB »

Just wanted to show y’all this crazy sassy beech. I’m assuming this is caused from re-veg. I’ve not ever seen it and thought it was to cool to keep to myself. Has any of yallseen this before? It’s every bit as big as my thumb.

looks real similar to a reveg leaf. bracts (calyx) are modified leaves and when they have the right hormones they will revert back to standard leaves
In botany, a bract is a modified or specialized leaf, especially one associated with a reproductive structure such as a flower, inflorescence axis or cone scale. Bracts are often (but not always) different from foliage leaves. They may be smaller, larger, or of a different color, shape, or texture. Typically, they also look different from the parts of the flower

Single blade leaves as gmo says plus the cabbage looking leaf says to myself that it is trying to reveg itself
How's your light schedule or how's your light performing.
I had a light that would just switch off ( led ) cool down and start up again
Ruined my veg cuboard
