Re: Polly's Veg and Flower Garden
@Mrs Beefheart ive always took tomatoes off the vine as soon as they start changing color , some say it gives a better flavour
"When should I pick my Tomatoes off the vine?
For maximum results, the best time to pluck the tomatoes from your plant is when they have turned to about one-third to one-half of their full ripening color. Allowing a tomato to spend too much time on the vine can lead to splitting. The longer a tomato hangs, the more issues it can develop."

Winter is on the way here , not much happening in the garden or greenhouse , last couple of chilli and peppers , a bucket of spuds left to raise out
