Seedlings feed using Canna Coco A & B
Hey all
I have had my seedlings in 0.5l or less pots.
I used around 1ml of A and B each in 2l of water.
Soaked the coco with it, and then put my sprouted seeds in. I noticed growth in 2 days..now its the 3rd day and it seems to have slowed down.
The pots are still carrying some weight and the coco doesn't look dry.
Cannas chart states 15-25ml per 10l in the seedling stage..so there's a chance I haven't given them enough food.
Prior to this I used jiffy peat pellets in my soil grows. This is my first time in coco.
They are under propagator. Temps 27c humidity around 80%.
One of the new sprouts first set of leaves look every so slightly yellow (not the cotyledons the first proper leaves)
Thank you

I would only be giving .5ml at the moment mate ,
Seedlings do take a good 10 days to get going , only when they get the first set of true leaves you will have blast off
Put some photos up mate so we can see what stage they are at,
You doing a diary for ya grow ?

Seedlings take FOREVER to get going in coco, have patience... you'll soon be struggling to hold them back.
Your feed sounds ok, I like 1ml/L for seedlings especially with this magical Welsh water!
Get some pics up and gis a looky at them!

Re: Seedlings feed using Canna Coco A & B
Similar to mine. As Marcus says in his sexy accent... They take a while to get going in coco. All plants are different but ive found the below will work well with 99% of strains, especially early on.
Germinate
Day 1 - 5 from pot up, plain un ph'ed water.
Days 5 - 14, 0.25ml per liter Canna A and B, PH set tpo 5.7.
Day 14 onward till they tell you they need a bit more, 0.5ml canna coco a and b, PH set to 5.8.
Tbh 0.5-0.75ml per liter canna a and b in veg, 1-1.5ml canna a and b per liter in flower will see most strains good.
Make a note of the different ec readings with the different ml per liter, you wont even use a ec pen in time, but its good to know roughly what each amount gets you in ec so if you have a issue you can check the ec of the run off to see if the plants are eating or not.

I dont at first. A good rule of thumb I use is to water daily oncer you have a few roots out the bottom of the pot. This also applies to when you pot up. Once you have roots out the bottom feed them daily.

0.5mnl per liter and lets pots dry out in-between feeds when young seedlings, not bone dry but im sure you get jist of it.
