Looking for advice on making my own Vape Carts - UK

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for recipes and methods on making the best quality TCH Vape juice/carts... i'm new to concentrates so wondering if solvent extraction or heat pressed rosin is the way to go? or if the straight infusion with vg/pg mix over low heat is worth doing? alot of conflicting advice online.

Im in the UK so things arent as easy to get hold of over here... thank god for amazon.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I failed in all honesty

Trying to get an even product at home seemed out of my realm

I think @2-Scoops may be planning to have a lil go at it soon

hi mate, i use rosin to make mine ... can either do oven tech or add a dewaxer/ coconut oil .. i prefer no additives and especially no added botanical terpenes - they ruin the taste.. oven tech is best imo but a bit of a lengthy process esp if only making a bit..

a search on utube for oven tech / rosin carts show show some good examples to follow.. i like the ones from lowtemp industries / nugsmasher ones are useful for background info

I've made these previously many moons ago. I was struggling to keep the oil mixed within the PG/VG mix so I had to stabilise things with PolyEthylene Glycol. After messing about with ratios I managed to produce a relatively stable product but it would still burn through the coils etc. To do it properly you would need to refine things way past what can be achieved with home extraction.

also made using pg/vg a while back and it was crap and like you say hard to do properly at home...

however, you can definitely make super high quality 100% pure rosin carts at home with rosin, an airtight jar and an oven - no need for PG/VG etc

You really dont wanna be vaping anything that has got oil in ie: coconut oil or any other, vaping or smoking any oils is proper gonna fuck up your lungs @chillbert42

But yes I seem to remember it doesn't stand too long and separates using pg and vg mixes and also i remember it was peg400 that's the best mixer to use then add some rosin and real weed terpenes and jobs a good en >>> a tasty vape that mashes you up. They still need as shake before use but peg400 holds it together longer than other mixers and is said best mixer or i should say it was once upon a time, things may have moved on a little, feck knows tbh

yep agreed which is why i said without is best and i make mine neat using oven tech

dewaxers and added botanical terpenes are fairly standard in many vape carts and make it easier to make a cart that vapes but that isnt what i was recommending in case it sounded like i was :)

oven tech requires nothing other than rosin, a jar and an oven - this is the best way to make a cart imo
