I've become the cook in our household since I retired. My wife finds cooking to be a chore while I find it to be rewarding. (My waistline will attest to that). Once in a while I will bake something. Here is an apricot galette I made, from scratch, yesterday.
This is a strawberry rhubarb pie:

Re: Cooking
Love my time in the kitchen.
I'm getting into Greek food at the moment. Homemade bread always goes well in our house. It never gets time to go cold.
Smoke a nice sativa and get some Northern soul on the sounds.
I do like the sound rhubarb and strawberries. Not tried that. Strawberries with balsamic vinegar and black pepper go well. I was really surprised by that
Enjoy your cooking mate
