When to switch up light intensity with LEDs
So I am week 6 of flower and since week 2 of flower my Telos 10 pro mesh has been set at 75%
I had a play around this morning with a lux meter (not ideal I know) and the canopy readings was 65k on average when I switched it to 100%
Now I am scared as hell at this stage to increase it to 100% intensity just in case I start to burn those lovely little flowers
Is there a big difference in results when run at 100% as opposed to 75% or are the results negligible
Cheers guys and gals
Tommy

Re: When to switch up light intensity with LEDs
My advice is to go up bit by bit. 3% ish a day.
Yes, there will be a difference between 75% and 100%, noticeable, and your plants may not love you for the shock lol.
Little by little.

Thanks Keeno, only problem is mate this version only allows you to go up in 25% incrementsKeeno wrote:My advice is to go up bit by bit. 3% ish a day.

So the only increase left is a jump to 100% buddy

Lux is not as accurate as par but it a good pointer to get intensity right.
Are the plants looking good?

Yeah plants looking nice mate too nice to mess up now at this stage!!
Would you say the lux meter readings are more “under” or “over” compared to what it gives off?

Re: When to switch up light intensity with LEDs
To be honest I'd leave as is. If the bud's are starting to bleach. Help with cooler temperatures in the last week's of flower too. How long have you left to go?Tom1974 wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 6:14 pmSome tips look white already lol just look different under the different lights I think mateTreetrunk wrote:Keep an eye on the bud's. Re: When to switch up light intensity with LEDs
That's a shame about the 25% increments. With my invisible sun I do this. Veg at 25-30%. When towards end of veg and they're juicy sized plants I edge up to 50% (also as I'm increasing the feed) then when I flip I turn it up around 2-3% everyday so when we hit week 3 -4 they're on around 90%. Even then I've had to turn down to 85% to stop plants having a hissy fit.
