DIY organic liquid fertilizer

Anyone here had any success with making their own liquid fertilizer ?

i'm thinking nettles,comfrey,manure,coffee grinds,bone meal,egg shells,seaweed,molasses,compost.

How would you stop it going off stinking place out within a week or two ? I`m pretty sure they use parabens in the stuff bought off shelf to prolong its shelf life, but then again fuck knows tbh. I`m clueless with this stuff, but tis prolly summink to bare in mind hey.

Fpj or fpe it man. Also look into jadam liquid fertiliser otherwise know as JLF.

@2-Scoops after about 2-3 weeks there should be no major smell unless making WCA and you leave lots of egg protein in the shells

I'm using some FPJ I made last year with nettles and mint leaves and sugar.

It smells like minty booze and I'm really tempted to have a session on it one sunny day with a slice of lemon.



My chilli and tom plants are happy enough with a splash of it in the feed.

PS... If this sleepdog I got ever wants to walk more than 100 yards down the lane, I'll be scrumping some seaweed (mostly bladderwrack) and making up some kind of grub too.

I've got FPJ 1 or 2 year old, smells lovely still. Use it on my living soils still. Worms are still alive

Keep in a cool dark place, we got a floor in a pantry I use and it's perfect.

In fact, I really need to do an FPJ and a compost only grow, just to see what happens.

Chris T mentions you need to integrate all of KNF for it to work, but he means on a farm or ina veg patch outside.

Give it a go. @GMO will have some recipes? I got when I made mine somewhere on here.

Another thing I heard mentioned recently is LAB'S but with an added xtra, like super labs. Will have to go back through some podcasts and listen back so I can give it a go.

Sea water is a part of some of the KNF ingredients.

Depends though! Sea weed can be a very effective accumulator of heavy metals.

Super labs is made with kefir. You can also use kefir to extract cyana bacteria... I know that's not spelt right but I'm having a brain fart atm

Also Mr T says to use what ya got. Ideally OHN, BRV and FPJ but use what ya got
