DLI Calculus :
PPFD X .0036 X hours on = DLI
Example:
1000 X .0036 X 12 = 43.2 DLI
CO2 added 900-1000+ PPFD.
Welcome & GL with your new beans.

CO2 max 1400/1500 PPFD
PAR level 1500 max on 12h, DLI max 65
T max 35°C, RH 80-85%
loooooooool can a plant really survive in these conditions??

Re: Hey guys! Newbie here!
Survive ? yes, flourish no.
Typically peak flower 52 DLI + CO2 11-1400 PPM + 60-65RH + 28C = very large bounty (80+ grams per square foot territory).
You'd need quantum sensors, co2 regulators, air conditioning & a shit ton of other expensive equipment in order to maintain these numbers. Its not impossible for the home grower to have a setup like this but very expensive outlay.
If your interested here's couple of home growers that run small setups capable of maintaining above specs :

Peace out.

Re: Hey guys! Newbie here!
Yup I agree with you, but one of the benefits of these modern led lights is that they are dimmable ;) I bought that lamp just because the price was crazy low... But more days passes, the more I believe it was a scam. Not to me (i payed with Paypal) but to the platform (AliXp)... Let's see what happens (still have 9 days to the package to arrive).bimblebrains wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 7:42 amwelcome aboard mate, hope it all goes well with your new seeds...only thing i was thinking is that ts3000 is quite brutal for a 1 x 1 m space, give off a lot of heat those baking tray lights,i got a couple of the 2000's and yer...they run hot for leds and bleach flowers when too close, just thought i'd mention it thats all, happy growing man
New seeds are going... Slowly, I guess :/ after 12h soaked into the water and 48h of wet paper towel, yesterday only 3 out of 4 were showing a timid lil root - just showing, not growing. Today I'll go check again, jiffies are ready to be soaked in every moment.
At the moment I'm learning what VPD is ;)

Re: Hey guys! Newbie here!
Today update: no news on Buddha Critical and Sweet Cheese, but good news about the 2 Tropicannas: in 24h the roots have grown about a good cm :D
Transplanted those two seeds into the jiffies, into the little germinating greenhouse, under 18h of 12-14 PAR 6400K cold white light. Heatmat under, providing 20-26°C.
The 2 late seeds are back into the towel, into the bag, in a dark and warm place. Let's see in a couple of days what happens to them. Maybe I found my germinating problems causes, will investigate and, if successful, I will spread the infos.
I'm not opening a post into the Grow Diary section just because... There is nothing to show, yet ;) as soon as some little brave green head will emerge from the "cold" terrain, I will open it, so you'll see the direction I want to proceed for and help me where needed. Probably, if only 2 plants will grow, the idea will be scrogging them together in a 1sqmt tent under 250-300W led light. Wile in veggie preparing them, I will take some clones to, eventually, preserve the genetic if a nice phenotype shows.
