Almost finished grading the hash. Still haven't hit that 1st wash 73u-159u. I already know it's 6 .

32.3g full melt 5 and 6 stars

If you reduce the amount of hash you consume in order to preserve your glass you've missed the whole point.

The final chunk of hash to grade. First pull 73u-159u. These are the biggest, ripest, most developed, most mature trichomes of the wash.
I pulled off a small piece and folded it in a piece of parchment paper. Then, using the heat from my hands pressed it nice and thin and picked it up with a dab tool.
As soon as I picked it up it just rolled itself up. So I put it in a dab jar.
Had to press that into the bottom of the jar.
After a few dabs I noticed that it just getting shinier and shinier from the terps rising to the top.

This is why I keep my melt in the fridge. A month later I'm still hitting on the grading samples. They have all started to crystallize sitting at room temperature. They still dab fine but instead of being soft and pliable they are stiff and crackable with all these little sugar like crystals.
