Photoperiod Or Autoflower
If you could only pick either photoperiod or autoflower. Which would you choose...
You may change for a vote as time goes by. The poll will run indefinitely. Feel free to post below why you chose the flowering type you did.

Re: Photoperiod Or Autoflower
I much prefer growing photo-period plants cus I've got more control and they much more forgiving of my fuck ups, i also prefer them cus i like to keep a mom and run a small veg area. I did grow one in a pot noodle pot on 12/12 once but that's it. I suppose basically they scare me .
Years ago I did used to see peeps saying auto`s are not as tasty or as strong but when i have had a smoke of it before its tasted alright to me and it got me smashed, so i dont buy that one bit nowadays. .
I had a debate once with guy who grew loadsa low-ryder auto`s that yielded around an oz per plant, it was first time I'd seen an auto grow and he was saying 1 days they auto`s would be out selling photoperiod beanZ and i think that i prolly lol`D at that statement. Fuck i may eating those words some day .

Re: Photoperiod Or Autoflower
I like the control and taking clones.
I've a GQ60 tent with a 48w T5 and use that to hatch the next batch.
Once plants go into bigger tent they're almost ready to flip.

Re: Photoperiod Or Autoflower
autos suck cos even when you get a good one its a one off pheno that you cannot repeat by cloning, there too easy to stunt.
ive had several crap autos even from barneys farm but never a photoperiod i did not like.
blue dream auto smells like rancid cats piss and smoking it makes us both cough up a lung!
banana sherbet is much nicer.
photos for me!

Re: Photoperiod Or Autoflower
Depends on the scenario. Indoors photoperiods all the way. With a decent fast flowering plant I can have bud in my vape 12 weeks after putting the seeds down. Outdoors is another story altogether. Autoflowers have improved considerably over the years and you don't get the luxury of control so plants can get unruly and take the best part of a year to complete and that add many hurdles to growing outdoors. Autoflowers will finish faster and are much easier to control. All desirable and especially when you live in the UK and you got to deal with wet unpredictable weather, pests and trying not to get caught. I can also see the appeal to someone that has only a little space and want to get something done real quick and without things getting out of hand.

Re: Photoperiod Or Autoflower
I'm all for innovation so I'm going to push the newcomer. As mentioned before 10 years ago auto was laughed at, not so much now. I think there'll come a day where they're viewed as being very viable.

Re: Photoperiod Or Autoflower
If it was onlynone to pick forever, photoperiod.
More control, versatile through options like cloning.
Autos have a place in growing but can be very limiting.
