Thanks for sharing your story man! There was a guy on the forum the other day who is getting oil legally in the UK on prescription, I can't remember who it was but he said it was much easier to get a prescription via a private doctor, have you thought about maybe trying to go that route while you get a grow on the go? Just thinking its prob the quickest way to get some oil ASAP while you sort out your own!

@wigz mmm, I wasn't aware it could be obtained via GP in oil form, just the M.S versions and that other forms were available but nigh on impossible to have prescribed. It's deffo on my list of things to investigate now. Private could be difficult for the usual reason but I'll be having a good chat with the GP and oncologist regarding that. Thanks again.

super grateful for you sharing your "adventures", like everyone has said, its been emotional just reading this but im very glad your felt you could share here and blown away by your bravery throughout

as has been mentioned there are private clinics like sapphire that some users are already using which could be a great resource for you.

Thanks for sharing that with us, not easy.
You can get perscription oils and many other formats from rokshaw, a UK based company that supply cannabis for perscription in many different formats:

From suppositories to lollypops....seems they are able to make anything people may get prescribed to order.

The oils I get are mct based for sublingual application. It's fairly straightforward to get a private script these days too.

Getting the lowdown and hopefully direct experience of how to navigate our NHS Medical Cannabis prescribing processes, brilliant. Never realised these medical suppliers and clinics had sprung up the past few years. i was looking at bud-buddies, self production or local cropper-land and that's as far as I'd got really. Its early days since I've made my mind up about going the 'full spectrum' route so to speak. I will keep this thread updated with any significant progress I make for certain.

At the very least I can go in to any Consults with information tucked away to show I understand things and can drive things forward as best i can. Funny enough, one of my cleaners hubbies had cancer and was on the oil but couldn't handle it (booze hound and depressive not positive thoughts ergo he's not here now), Im going to find out where he got his from but I suspect it will be the 'unofficial' route. But, who knows I might be surprised.

I have to say the process for getting my perscription was pretty easy I used sapphire for fibromyalgia treatment, other experiences may vary lol

Just bookmarked and had a quick scan of ^^^those^^^ links and spotted the sapphire clinic. How did you get your referral to them @FX ? Did you approach direct or have to go via a GP/Clinician? I noted that the Medicann site required registration of pharmacist, GP, Clinician etc to be able to place the orders.
