DIY Lighting options ISH120 60w Boards

Post by Invisible Sun »

Hi All,

This is just a quick thread to highlight that we don't just sell kits ready to go, our ISH120 60w DIY boards are a great option if you are looking to build a DIY set up.

The boards are 24v volt and have a max current of 2100mA, they ,measure 240mmx240mm and are available in 3000k 3500k and 4000k.

For Example

4 x boards could be ran very nicely on either a HLG 240H 24A/B in parallel or HLG 240H c2100A/B for series. You could run 8 boards with a HLG 480H c2100A/B

By the measurements of the boards and depending on the configuration you could fit either 8-9 in a 4x4 very nicely, the canopy coverage would be insane with par potentially in the 800's + in the corners.

a 480w system for a 4x4 which included 8 boards and driver would roughly come in at around £340 - £370 quid depending on the driver and frame used, this is far less than 2 x 250w kits for a 4x4 and with a very similar output but with an unmeasurable improvement in the coverage of the canopy.

Iv ordered some aluminum to get some frames done as a tester, ill post on here so that people can see how easy it is and most importantly the results.

If anyone has any questions, or needs help with any ideas for a set up please feel free to hit us up,

Ok so this is what im working on. Not quite finished as i need to attach the other l channel. Then wire up.

All in all this will cost
£108 boards
£55 driver
£14 frame
£1 wire
£0.71 uk plug

This would be unstoppable in a 2x4 space. An 2 of these in a 4x4 would kill it

Yeah its kinda where we are heading, obviously the 250w kit can be utilsed in a 2x4 / 80x80 / or 90 x 90 really well, even a 70x70. But what it doesnt do is give you multiple sources of light which is always better for complete canopy coverage this is where the 60w boards come into their own, as they dont need a heatsink it makes them really versitile for DIY builds.

We are going to be bringing out frames for the 120w, 240w kit and a 480w kit which all utilise these boards.

So this costs £175.71 and would be perfect to veg under and would easily cover 4x4 ?
